Kristen Stewart understands her fans

Kristen Stewart says she can understand the emotions her devoted fans go through when they meet her.

The Twilight actress insists she’s able to relate to her admirers after she went blank as she came face-to-face with her favorite rocker, singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis.

“There definitely are people that kind of lose it and get very emotional. But recently, I met Jenny Lewis and I had the most ridiculous experience,” Kristen said.

“It was so embarrassing. I couldn’t speak. It was eye-opening, actually I’m sure that fans leave and find themselves going. ‘It’s the one time I’m probably ever going to get a chance to meet this chick, and God, I couldn’t even f**king speak’.”

Meanwhile, Kristen has insisted the media misinterprets her quiet demeanor for rudeness.

“I’m sometimes told I am a very distant and cold person,” she says. “In real life, I’m very shy. I feel uncomfortable during interviews because I need to talk about myself. But to talk about yourself, you have to know who you are.

“When it comes to that, I think there are still a lot of things I need to discover about myself.”
