Jessica Simpson has no plans to wed?

Jessica Simpson has no plans to get married until after she gives birth in case she turns into a “hormonal bridezilla”.

The singer-and-actress is currently expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson and the couple have decided to put their wedding on hold in order to concentrate on her pregnancy.

“No wedding plans,” she said.

“We didn’t ever really have a date nailed down but now I just want to wait until after everything is over so I don’t end up being a hormonal bridezilla. I just can’t imagine doing it all while pregnant. I worry about things I’ve never worried about before, I would rather just be at peace.”

Jessica only confirmed her pregnancy last month despite sporting a sizable baby bump and the star who wants to discover the sex as soon as possible admitted she would have loved to have kept the “secret” just between her, Eric and those closest to them for even longer but her changing shape meant she could no longer hide the happy news.

“Honestly my stomach was speaking for itself. This baby really wanted to be noticed. But I did just want some time for me and Eric and my family and closest friends to have our little secret but that little secret really wanted to make itself known,” she said.

“I think I’m going to find out the sex, I think I have to know. Keeping a secret from yourself is pretty hard.”

Jessica has praised her fiance for looking after her during the pregnancy and says she is enjoying being the center of attention.

“Eric has been incredible, he’s going to be an amazing dad. He’s always asking me what I want and what I need. I’m loving the attention and all the backrubs,” she said.

“I just can’t wait to dress the baby, hold the baby, everything. But I am loving being pregnant so I’m in no rush.”
